Knižná publikácia Mäkké ciele ako predmet útoku nožom a strelnou zbraňou sa zaoberá problematikou bezpečnosti na verejných a ľahko dostupných miestach, kde sú ľudia zraniteľní rôznymi formami násilných útokov. Publikácia charakterizuje tzv. mäkké ciele, analyzuje priebeh útokov vedených chladnými aj strelnými zbraňami a ich dosah na spoločnosť. Periférne sa dotýka aj radiačného, chemického a biologického ohrozenia, ktoré predstavujú špecifickú formu útokov na verejnosť. Dôraz je kladený na prevenciu, identifikáciu rizík a opatrenia na zvýšenie bezpečnosti, ako aj poskytnutie prvej pomoci pri takýchto typoch útokov.

The primary author of both publications is our lecturer, Branislav Hrnčiar, who analyses providing assistance to injured subjects in tactical and various life-threatening situations.
